The MTC provides transportation to the Salt Lake International Airport. However, if possible, it’s a good idea to have family or friends pick you up at the MTC and take you to the airport so that you have more control over your schedule.

If you live within commuting distance of the Missionary Training Center, you can live at home and travel to and from the MTC each day. You will still need to pay for any meals you eat while at the training center, though.

Most senior missionary couples attend the Missionary Training Center for one week of orientiation. However, for couples with specialized callings, such as office couple or humanitarian service, they are given an extra week of training for their specific calling.
